Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting new chapter in our history.

Together, we can continue to foster excellence, camaraderie, and passion for rowing in our community.

Donations over $5,000 (Silver donor and up) can be recognised with a personalised Brick on the exterior
walls. You can choose the name to be engraved on your Brick. In this way you and/or your family will be
recognised now and in the future. It’s not about the amount—it is about being part of something special.
You can also choose whether your donation is publicly acknowledged or anonymous.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF NAMED BRICK for over $5000 donations

St Georges Rowing Club (THE CLUB) and the DONOR agree the following:

  • The Club reserves the right to re-negotiate any name you choose if we find it offensive, unusual or difficult for any reason. The club has the final say in whether a particular name will be accepted.
  • PLEASE CHECK SPELLING: The Donor will receive 1 proof of the Brick  name/spelling for confirmation after we place the order for the Brick. Once confirmed, the spelling is final and your order cannot be cancelled or changed.

  • The bricks will be produced in a bulk order and you will be notified on the relevant date/s and given enough time to check your details.

  • Bricks can be awarded to monetary donations received in the club bank account no later than 31 Dec 2026.

  • The Club will make every effort to provide longevity of the Brick after they are affixed, but cannot be held responsible for Acts of God, vandalism or any unforeseen events that mean your name Brick is damaged, obscured or removed. The Club will not be responsible to replace Brick in these circumstances but it may be possible for you to buy a replacement Brick at the going rate at the time.

  • The club will provide labour and materials to affix the Brick to the building in a visible location to be chosen by the Club and in a manner that gives as much longevity as possible.

  • The location of each brick will be determined by the Building Committee of the Club and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the individual sites of bricks.

There are several ways to contribute, and every gift, no matter the size, has a meaningful impact.

St George’s Fund raising team has set up a Give-A-Little page where you can donate amounts up to $2000.

You can choose to remain anonymous or not, and receive a tax receipt.
